Ann-marie Weekes, the founder of Starseed Interiors, realised that her journey, initiated over two decades ago in university, marked the commencement of her true life's calling. A consistent theme prevailed in her work, seeking answers to the question:
How is the environment currently influencing human evolution and can we co-create this consciously to elevate all life?
This search over many years led her to discovering deeper links between humans and their spaces. Areas of research were, anthropology, the psychology of colour & light, the effects of form & shape, the science of epigenetics, human flow studies, the human psyche and perception, this ultimately lead her into the metaphysical world venturing in to study the nature of reality itself. The latter was taught to Ann-marie over many years by a master spiritual guide and other significant teachers. This is an ongoing study that brings profound life changing insights not only for her, but for her clients lives, lifestyles and journeys.
The Human Space Matrix brings together Ann-marie’s experience and vision into a new model for designing man-made environments.
This is a model where individual human consciousness plays a crucial role in establishing how a space is to be designed that not only changes peoples lives, but sits in alignment with nature and Earth.
Ann-marie is an accredited and qualified Interior Designer with a Master of Science degree in Architecture.
Following her academic years, her niche computer science and design skill sets won her a coveted position within William Russell’s architectural team designing Alexander McQueen’s first international boutiques.
This set the trend for working within the retail sector on multi-million pound projects from M&S’s first fully sustainable flagship store in Cheshire Oaks to Dunhill’s grade 2 listed Bourdon House in Mayfair, formerly owned by the Duke of Westminster.
Her proficient sector knowledge has broadened into other design areas granting her extensive full cycle project knowledge from the ground up and in.
Her work in retail, hospitality, workplace & residential environments has allowed her to see the vast untapped potential of how space can change how we think, feel and interact with others. Yes architecture and design has made great strides in creating beautiful spaces that function efficiently, but unfortunately we’ve designed ourselves out of and further away from nature; the very thing that maintains life here on planet earth.
It is well documented that it is this great migration into cities and our disconnection from nature that lies at the cause of many lifestyle diseases and our environmental crisis. We now see that it is time to reconnect and realign with the laws of nature if we are to establish harmony and genuine sustainability. Ann-marie’s mission is to develop new systems for a better world through design in our built-environment.

Ann-marie now works to bring through this new way of working with clients and the design of the built environment with a number of specialist's, each with their own unique skills to design spaces that reach new levels of working to reunite the disconnection we with have with the earth to and uplift the human heart during this unique time of transformation.
